March, 2005: We spent a most wonderful and fascinating 2 days in Siem Reap, Cambodia touring the Temples of Angkor from Angkor Thom, the Bayon, the Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephants, the Angkor Wat, to Banteay Srei, Banteay Samre, and Ta Prom. Additionally, we took a day trip to the floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. Our personal tour guide was Keo, who was not only a pleasure to be with but was extremely knowledgeable of the Angkor temple complex, Siem Reap Province and the history of the Cambodian people. Keo suggested which of the many temples to visit during our short stay based on Khmer architecture, style and historical period. We enjoyed sharing our lunches with Keo as he helped us get to know the people, language, foods and culture of Cambodia (he also made good choices of restaurants where we were able to sample local Khmer food – such as Amok!). We highly recommend him to anyone traveling to Cambodia in the Siem Reap district!!! Keo will be happy to arrange for a good safe taxi driver to spend all day with you for your entire adventure. Jum reap sua!

We contacted Seng Keo ourselves because a friend of ours had used his services and highly recommended him to us. He was everything she said he would be and more! He was so knowledgeable about everything and gave us the best tour of temples as well as other highlights of Siem Reap. He was also a great resource for the recent history of the country. He is such a kind man, with a great sense of humor and his English is impeccable. Overall, an excellent tour guide and just generally wonderful to spend time with while you are in Siem Reap.
